Once you connect Rave Panic Button to a LocationTech deployment, you can choose what activation behaviors and notifications the wearable buttons trigger.

Wearable Activation uses Active Shooter Protocol

In this configuration, a wearable activation launches your Active Shooter protocol as defined in the Active Shooter button in Rave Panic Button. You can include the precise location information from wearable devices in your Active shooter message.

To set this configuration for wearables:

  1. Log in to Motorola Facility.

If the active shooter activation comes from a wearable device, this data will be automatically included in the message.

If the active shooter activation comes from the Rave Mobile Safety app, this data will automatically be omitted from the message.

  8. Select the Save button.

Motorola Facility confirms the configuration change with a blue success banner at the top of the screen.

Now when a member of your organization activates their wearable panic button, it will launch an active shooter response through Rave Panic Button.

Wearable Activation Uses Custom Protocol

In this configuration, a wearable activation launches custom message and notification behavior.

You can include the precise location information from wearable devices in your custom wearable message message.

Wearables Allow Additional Location Data in Notifications

Just like with other Rave Panic Button notifications, you can enter placeholders to populate with information specific to your activation.

Wearable activations provide two new variables for precise indoor location. Add the floor and room variables to include this information in your activations.

  7. Select the Save button.

Motorola Facility confirms the change with a blue success banner at the top of the screen.

Now when a member of your organization activates their wearable panic button, it will launch this custom notification response through Rave Panic Button.
